Weather Webquest - Guides students through the affects of three different types of severe weather as they work for a news show. Nasa Kids' Club - Games and puzzles that teach kids about the space program. Dinosaur and Earth Floor - An interactive site that helps teach Earth science and helps children learn more about fossils and dinosaurs. Biology4Kids - A site that explores everything from cells to animals; it also has some good quizzes. MO State Fossil - This site shows and tells a little bit about the crinoid, Missouri's state fossil. Super Pig's Food Web Lesson - This page has all of the links you need to do your research on food chains, food webs, and habitats. Erosion Pictures - This site shows the transformation of a sea stack over 100 years. What is erosion? - This site gives a definition of erosion and a cool try at home experiment. Do rocks last forever? - This site gives information about weathering and a couple of try at home experiments. Dust Bowl Webquest - This is a lesson that makes us think about ways to help prevent the next big dust storm. Science Bob - This is a cool site that gives some great ideas about science fair projects, answers science questions, shows videos of science in action, and is overall a pretty cool site! Science Buddies - This website gives students a short quiz and then selects several personalized science fair projects to choose from. Science Fair Central - This site will give you great ideas on science fair projects from start to finish. Motion Webquest - This lesson teaches about friction, distance, and time. Inventors - This website lets students search for any inventor or scientist and gives them a brief description of that person. Roofus' Solar House - This website lets students explore the advantages of alternative energy sources. Periodic Comics - This website gives a comic page or picture for each element. Chem4Kids - This website gives basic information on chemistry. NCES Kids Zone - This site lets you see how you rank among other kids your age in what you've learned, it will also help you build a graph (great for science fair projects). You can play games, brush up on those pesky facts, or print off flash cards. Escape from Kanb - This site teaches economics in a fun fast paced way. Will you save enough money to get back to Earth or will you be stranded on Kanb?
Missouri Kids - This site has everything from state symbols to a Missouri history timeline. Famous Missourian's WebQuest - This WebQuest asks the question, which famous Missourian has made the biggest contribution to our past, present, and future? September 11, 2001 - This site reminds us of the events of that day, teaches us how to be tolerant, and makes us think about what it means to be an American. Missouri State Symbols - This site lists all of the symbols of our state. Symbols quiz - How much do you know about our state symbols? Westward HO! - This WebQuest puts students on the trail west. They have to answer the questions: What was life like for an early Pioneer and could I have made it?
